counting down the days..

Counting the days til December is over. I won't really get to see my honey at all for the next 4 months. He will be starting the police academy next week. And I start school tomorrow- sad day! I'm excited for the new semester though. It just brings me that much closer to being done- so I can't wait! We have been pretty crazy busy lately- trying to fit in a few more summer festivities. I did a chair massage event on friday- which was pretty crazy! I haven't done chair massage since I learned it in school. It was alot of fun though- I hope I can do some more of those- definitely worth all the hard work when you count your money at the end of the night. We were in a room with likee 20 other therapist- all constantly working the whole night- it was pretty much like working in a sauna. I think I lost 5 pounds in sweat. I didn't get home til after 1 am and had to shower before I got in my bed to get all the grossness off of me. And then got up the next morning and worked ALL day on getting everything ready for McCall's graduation party. We had yummy food and most of my family came. a few of McCall's friends came as well- not as many people as I had hoped for but we had just enough food for everyone so I guess it was good that no one else came. I just wanted to be able to see everyone before the semester started so that's why I was kinda sad that not everyone was able to make it. Oh well- we still had lots of fun! McCall got spoiled by me and even a couple of friends gave him gifts- which was SO nice of them to do that. He had a good night- other than the fact that he ripped his shorts open playing volleyball. Totally hilarious though. :)

We went on a short little trip over to Colorado for a few days to visit my in-laws this past week as well. The trip was definitely WAY too short. It was nice to see everyone though. We got to go out shooting to try out a few of the guns. McCall wanted to get used to one of them so he could use it for the police academy. I definitely kick butt with my brothers glock22. :) McCall was kinda mad that I was doing so good. LOL. It was nice to just chill and hang out with the family though. Very relaxing little trip. I really enjoy the 5 hour drive to get there too. Me and McCall get to catch up on everything that we haven't had a chance to talk about in a while.

Not a whole lot going on with our little family. We are kinda boring. Everyone should come visit me at Envy and get a massage though :) McCall is still on the hunt for a job. No new news for any of the ones we have been working with already. So if anyone ever hears of any job postings for police officers- shoot them our way :) I'll try and post some pics soon from our summer stuff
