SO PROUD!!

Maybe it's just me.... but I swear McCall has changed SO much since we got married. My sweet boy has turned into an amazing man! I just love him! I am so proud of him right now. We have definitely been having a hard time lately since we have so much stress going on and don't get to see each other hardly at all.
*This too shall pass*
That has become my new mantra.
McCall is doing so good in the Police Academy though and I couldn't be more proud of him. He finished top of his class with his PT scores and with the first block of the academy. He just barely finished the second block today and I'm not sure where he ranked with that one but he hasn't ever really done bad on anything and is usually always in the top group. So now we just have the last block left. So as of right now he has his SFO certification(special functions officer) and his BCO certification (basic corrections officer) and the last one is the LEO (law enforcement officer). So I guess we're almost done! I am so frustrated with the academy right now... they have extended it into January when it was supposed to end in December. But then they just take all these random days off?? Why not get rid of the pointless days off and just end on time?? I don't know... makes no sense. They also scheduled him for some training the 2 days after thanksgiving, so it's looking like we are going to have to cancel our trip to Colorado. SO sad! I'm glad we will still be able to see my in-laws for his commencement in December but still.... I was looking forward to our vacation together and for the chance to spend some time with our family. So it's a huge bummer. It's almost over... gotta keep that in mind so I don't go crazy.

McCall never complains and he is always so helpful to me with things though... always cleaning and helping around the house even though he has no time hardly at all. Couldn't ask for a better husband.
We haven't had any luck with the job situation yet. It's just like these places are picking the most unlikely of candidates.. and it's kind of confusing. McCall will test the very highest and he also has his degree and is almost done with his POST certification... so you would think they would all be fighting over him since he is such a good candidate, tis not so.We know it is because the right one hasn't come along yet or the right one hasn't given him the offer. Our life path isn't in our hands so we are just trying to be patient and have faith that everything will work out as it should.

So if anyone has any connections with any law enforcement agencies and has enough pull to help him get hired... we are kind of calling in for some favors!  thanks!
We are interested in everything at this point.
The problem is... if he doesn't get hired by any of these agencies that we are waiting on then we will have to start looking outside of Utah. And while I'm ok with moving away.... I don't really think now is the right time for that... maybe in a few more years but not right now. So we are trying as hard as we can to stay here and any help we can get is always appreciated!!

Thanks to everyone who has been there for me lately. I have had to vent alot to some people and I appreciate the encouragement and support.

Also on a side note. My brother and sister-in-law have announced that they have been working with LDS family services in order to adopt! yay! We couldn't be more excited for them!! Their little girl will make such an awesome big sister and they are all around just an amazing little family.
They say that alot of people find their birth mothers through people they know or a referral from family or friends. So if anyone ever knows of someone looking for a family-
let me know! Thanks!
