"Faux Baby"

My cute sister has been buying all kinds of baby clothes for the last few year in anticipation of actually having one... Her first is now due to arrive at the end of February. yay!!!

So I decided I am taking on her idea and have inadvertantly started buying things myself. To justify her purchases she would just tell her husband that it was for her faux baby. LOL. I love it! So now our very own faux baby got another outfit today.

As I wandered Quilted Bear today... (I've avoided the store for months because I know it's a TRAP! and I will almost always walk out the door having bought something that I can't really justify as a need... but I really wanted it!) I ended up buying a bow and a jumper for a baby that I don't have (and won't have in the forseeable future for those thinking this was an announcement- it's not!)

It was just too cute too pass up.. The bow is kinda similar to one I already bought a few months ago... it's red and it's U of U. SO cute!! I passed up buying the cute jumper a few months ago (which is also U of U) because I couldn't justify the cost... I'll spend a few dollars on our faux baby but that kind of my limit. So today... as I walked past this cute jumper again.. I picked it up longingly and noticed it was half off!! SAWEET! So I totally bought it.... I mean... it was the last one... I had to get it!! haha!

McCall just rolls his eyes and laughs at me when I do crazy things like this. He doesn't go crazy over just a couple of dollars on something that makes me a little happy :) He just thinks I'm weird- and truthfully... I am!

Now... if I bought the super cute crib I found online for two hundred and fifty bucks.... then he might freak. (yes.. I looked at cribs... My jumper purchase got me in a baby mood so I looked online at stuff.... pathetic... I know!)

one of my guilty pleasures I guess.... I'm allowed to indulge in a little online browsing and wishful thinking every now and then I think.

When we do actually have one- he/she will be one cute lookin baby though!

And I don't care if it's a boy or a girl... either way- our baby is gonna wear that dang bow too! haha!
