SMILE!

Well.. I had 4 teeth pulled on Monday. and let me tell you... it sucked!!!! It's not as bad as when I had my wisdom teeth out in July but still.. it's definitely up there on my sucky pain scale.So that 8 teeth in less than a year- go me! I've gotta tell ya that mouth pain is the worst! I swear I am not a wimp when it comes to pain- I have tolerated alot of pain in the past 5 years and mouth pain is by far the worst in my book. It isn't that bad during the day but once I relax and go to sleep for the night- it keeps me up. I have to wake up every few hours just to take more pain meds and lay there for what seems like forever waiting for it to kick in. I am not one who functions well with no sleep either. Especially when I have chemistry every morning. So any remedies any one knows of to relieve mouth pain then send them my way. I know it can't be healthy taking all these pain meds either. Good thing I had Lortab left over after my hand surgery. I can take that at night and on weekends but I'm stuck with Ibuprofen and acetaminophen which only dull the pain so it's tolerable during the day. Sorry to complain so much... I'm just frustrated and need to vent I guess.

So the reason I got them pulled is cuz I'm getting braces again- wahoo! NOT! I will be happy when I have the perfect smile I have been wanting for years and years now though. So I probably won't have alot of pictures for a while- I'm definitely self concious about the way I look right now and probably will for a while. I look like a toothless hill-billy. LOL. And then I will be a metal-mouth. So when I am all done with this whole process I will post pictures of the before-during and after photos to show how great my orthodontist is :)

Good thing I have pretty much the most amazing husband in the world. He has taken care of me for 3 weeks now and he continues to do so without complaint. He cooks for me, rins my errands, gets me whatever I need, and he tells me I'm beautiful when I have 4 teeth missing from my smile. Now that's true love right there! He is already stressing and freakin out about what to get me for my birthday in 3 weeks- seriously so cute. I love him more every day. Any suggestions on a freakin awesome thank you gift let me know- I really need to get him something.

An update on his job prospects. He has tested for Sandy city and UHP and is waiting to hear back from a few other places, including some out of state ones. He passed Sandy City and has an interview on monday- keep him in your prayers. He FINALLY got the packet in the mail from UHP. They said he passed the physical stuff and now it's on to the extensive backround check- UGH! So that's my project for the weekend- to fill out the 30+ page packet about him. We have heard several times it is just for a hiring list which kinda makes me mad. Especially after how excited McCall got today when it came in the mail. He seriously freaked out and got so excited. which if any of you know him- he NEVER does that. He is usually so calm and collected. So keep him in your prayers. I know he will do amazing in his interviews. I really do have a gut feeling that Sandy is going to be the one to work out. So we just have to wait and see.
