....they see me rollin.... they hatin...
Better watch out those of you that drive through the Weber County areas. McCall is in full swing with his internship and is spending his tuesday nights patroling with the Weber County Sherrifs. :) He has learned a ton of new stuff that is definitely going to help him with his job search. McCall is also very aware of the fact that people really don't like police officers. (or so we've heard) Hence his new theme song that I put as the title of this post. :) Pretty funny I know! I love em however.. I'm not too happy when I get tickets but I know that I desreve them and that police deserve our respect and gratitude for the services they provide to our communities. I've struggled with the thought of McCall carrying a gun everyday to work, standing helpless on the sides of roadways and being in danger all the time. Way too many police officers are hit by cars when they are pulling someone over for a traffic violation. And way too many are getting into bad situations and being injured or killed. Not many people have to deal with the thought of their husband, son, brother, father, friend etc. going into work each day with the possibility of not coming home that night. So please- everyone be safer on the roads when around officers and just keep them in your prayers so that they may be safe. and I just hope that one day, people can gain a better understanding of how much officers are really at risk when they are out working and can gain a better appreciation for it.
McCall isn't an officer yet but I know I will need alot of support from family and friends when that happens. And for those of you "hatin" on our officers- well karma is a B! One day you will need them and you will be eating your words when they come to save the day. I'm sure when that happens you will definitely be more grateful that they are around. It's kind of a sensitive subject for me so I am sorry ahead of time if I get a little testy with anyone about the topic.
So thank you to all officers out there who work to keep us safe.
I'm proud to say that my Husband is striving to become one of those people- willing to sacrifice so much for others with not much in return. I am, and always will be, so proud of him and all that he does. He truly is amazing!
