So.... I cut my hair off.... yes I said off!! Because seriously.... I have no hair!!!! I though I would just cut it short for the summer.. and man I wasn't kidding... all my hair is gone! It's not that I don't like it.. cuz I do.. I'm just not used to it yet and I have NEVER had my hair this short... EVER! I kinda though I would replicate the way I had my hair last year when it was short... but I went about 2 inches shorter than that without realizing it. So uh.. hopefully it grows 2 inches really really fast! I'm kinda scared to post any pictures so we'll see if that actually happens.. I will most likely be taking some pictures when we go to Colorado next week for McCall's younger brother's graduation and then again for my piano recital on the 30th. so we'll see if any of the photos make the cut and get posted on here and on Facebook. haha make the cut... that was kind of a wannabe joke.. lol!

Anywho... so... not much to update on. McCall finished his finals and got all As and Bs... and we all know... Bs get degrees! so I am way happy for him- he is such a good little student! and well.. I have some slight frustrations lately but oh well.. such is life right? We had been planning on moving down to St George this fall and it looks like it will be postponed til probably Spring or Summer next year... which is so extremely disappointing to me you have no idea. But all is well because it is for good reason. As many of you know, McCall is going into Criminal Justice for his degree and last September he had applied to be hired on with the Highway Patrol.. but the week he was supposed to go in and start with the physical testing and all that- they canceled it due to budget cuts in the state. Major Bummer! I was so mad!! So McCall had kept in touch with the UHP representative via E-mail and the guy told him that as soon as a job came back up he would e-mail McCall so he could apply again. So the last monday in April he got this e-mail that said a job was open but it was only open for 24 hours so he had to hurry and get an application in. (all of this is happening without my knowledge by the way) so we get this big envelope in the mail the other day from UHP and I'm like... what is this McCall??? and he's like... oh yeah.. forgot to tell ya about that...... sheesh!! men!!! so he goes in on the 16th of this month and does all the physical testing first... then if he passes that.. he goes on to the written testing.. and if he passes that he goes on to the interviews and psych evaluations... they even interview ME for his job! Majorly scarey!! So since he has to do all of that fun stuff, it can take about 6 to 9 months for them to hire him. and then he has to go on to the academy after that for another 6 months. So needless to say... no St. George this fall! :( and I am basically gonna give myself an ulcer stressing over it... so please keep us in your prayers... McCall really, really, really, really wants and needs this job and I really want him to get it! he would do so well in this field and I know he would LOVE it! So any advice for him would be helpful if anyone knows any highway patrolman.. I would love to pick their brain! :)

Other than that new stressor in my life.... life is good! We are going through 2 Temple sessions this weekend.. one with some friends and the other with my family before David and Tresa move away. I'm so excited that David is coming though! it's been a long time since he has been through and so it will be so fun! Nothing else really to report on that I can think of... My life is pretty mundane and boring! :) Any advice for McCall would be greatly appreciated though! I will try and post some pics from our family photo shoot last month.. once I get the cd of all the pictures- I can upload them on here.
