A little bit about where we got started-

Just a little backround on how we met and all that. We actually met on a blind date of all places- usually blind dates are kinda scary but this one turned out great! (obviously) I had been dating a guy from my old high school for almost a year and a half and I kinda decided my life needed to take a different direction and I needed to get out and have some new experiences before my high school career was over. It took me like a month but I finally got up the guts to break up with the kid. So I planned a day I was gonna do it but I was kinda scared so I needed a little pep talk I guess you could call it so I was texting my best friend Becca about it to find out her thoughts and all that. So through out our conversation she said hey I'm going on a date with Kyle (her boyfriend at the time) on saturday you should come and go out with his friend. It'll get your mind off the breakup. So I broke up with my boyfriend on friday and was going to go on the blind date on saturday. seems simple enough right? well I guess alot of things had to happen before I got invited on that date. McCall had a girlfriend at the time and he was trying to get her to go on the date with him- but she decided he wasn't worth the time or something and was going out with another guy instead. So McCall got mad and started trying to ask out all the girls he knew so he could have a date and not a single one could go. So he told Kyle he had to find him a date or he wasn't coming. so Kyle was texting Becca right then and told her to find McCall a date and she happened to be texting me right at that same moment. So I'm the lucky girl who got invited. So I went to Becca's house and they picked us up and we decided to go to a corn maze since they were open- it was in september- and the whole time I just kept thinking how tall and HOT he was!:) so we hit it off that first date- held hands and all! omg! haha he asked for my number and we hung out a couple of times that week. and 6 days after we had our first date we had our first kiss- aw how cute I know! it wasn't very typical for McCall to do that though so I thought it was pretty cool- it usually would take him months and months before he would kiss a girl. I guess I just have the magic touch or something. but we kept dating- we decided to be exclusive in January- I got my promise ring in May- and we got engaged in November. Our wedding day was March 11, 2006 and here we are almost 2 and a half years later still goin strong!! phew! that was a long story- but I love it and thought I'd share it!
