So Proud

I just wanted to say how proud I am of myself :)
(I am allowed to give a little self praise on my own blog I think)
As I sit home alone tonight doing homework- I left work because we had no appointments tonight
I decided I had a rumbly in my tumbly and needed some dinner. Haha
So rather than doing my usual and cooking a pizza or some pasta-roni (my usual college-student diet) LOL
 I actually cooked something...
you know- the kind of cooking where you combine alot of things to make one great thing.
I didn't cook out of a box and I didn't even use a recipe.
Like I said- I am pretty proud of myself.
Not that I don't know how to cook or anything- I do- I just  never have time and haven't really had the practice. So here is a photo of my dish- and it is definitely a new favorite of mine- McCall will hate it because of the tomatos but I don't care- I think it's one of the tastiest things I've eaten in a while and I will be enjoying the leftovers for the rest of the week :)

Good for you... I love cooking, but hate the dishes. Ah well, you've got to take the good with the bad, I suppose. :o) Glad to hear you are both doing well, even if you are super busy.

It was just boiled macaroni, shredded cheese, and 2 cans of oregano/basil tomatos and I threw some more oregano, thyme, and basil on the top and baked it for about 30 min. Nothing fancy :)
