To say this Christmas was amazing would be an understatement! It was our first normal Christmas together since we were married. Our first christmas we didn't have our tree up or anything since I bought all the decorations after Christmas was over that year to save money. Our 2nd and 3rd Christmases were spent in someone elses basement and it just didn't feel like ours. We weren't too happy those years so this one was just amazing because we spent it together and had no worries in the world. McCall came and woke me up screaming "it's Christmas! it's Christmas!" at like 8 in the morning- he said he was preparing me for when we had kids to wake us up. It was pretty cute though. He had all my presents set out and my stocking filled. He is pretty sweet to me. He even made our traditional Christmas Eve dinner.. he made it all himself.. even homemade Cheesecake for dessert! pretty awesome of him! We both got lots of clothes.. and all the things we wanted basically. We went to my parents house and spent christmas day there hanging out.. eating good food.. playing games. My parents are amazing and totally spoiled us. My mom had my ring re-sized for me.. and my amazing aunt got it for me for free- saved us 200 bucks! So my mom sent my dad to the store on Christmas eve to buy me some new tools I needed.. with a budget of about 100 bucks.. he blew right through that budget though like he usually does. so I got a huge tool box full of new tools! My dad has always spoiled me like that. one of the perks of being the youngest and being a girl! :) which is kinda funny since what girl do you know that gets so excited about tools for christmas? I am definitely the handy-man at our house though. My dad made me learn when I was younger so now I can fix almost anything. The next funny thing was that my mom bought us a really great set of pots and pans- like the kind the pros use- way nice stuff! and that one was addressed to McCall. So McCall got pans.. and I got tools! so backwards! oh well though.. we actually didn't really ask for anything specific from my parents this year so it was pretty amazing that they remembered what we needed. My in-laws also spoiled us pretty bad. Since we didn't spend Christmas there.. they had to just send us our presents.. and since it's kinda hard to mail gifts we just got gift cards. Terri gave us WAY too much though. I don't know if I'll even be able to spend it all! so I'll just have to save it for spring maybe and get some new clothes then. So sad to take my pretty tree down next week- I think it looks pretty freakin amazing! I love it!! I definitely enjoyed having the week off for the holiday.. now it's back to the daily grind I guess. We did alot of fun stuff this month though. We went to Jon Schmidt like we do every year- it's our tradition. And just like all the other years before- it was the best concert ever! I will never get sick of him. we went to another music concert with my family that was pretty cool too. I even won a gift card at the IHC party too! way fun month to say the least.. Lots of time spent with family and friends. Time to finally relax. and school starts in a week.. ugh! I'll post some more pics later though.. trying to figure out Picasa to make a collage so that I don't have to post like 50 individual pictures. Hope everyone had an amazing holiday- here's to the coming new year!!!

Oh my gosh, what kind of place charges 200 dollars for ring resizing?! I got my diamond and band resized for 40 bucks at Farr's.
What a great christmas you had! :)
it's because of how big my ring is. It's the engagement ring and 2 bands saudered together. so the reason it was so much was cuz they had to take them all apart and size them individually and then put em back together. my ring is really thick too. and plus they rhodium plated it. I dunno.. apparently it was all complicated or something.
Merry Christmas...sounds like you got spoiled!
