Give Thanks! or something like it...

Happy Dead Turkey Day!! oh wait... uh.. .

ok so I know Thanksgiving is supposed to be a time when you recognize all the things you are thankful for- but I guess just have a bad attitude (or so I've heard) because my list tends to be a little more sarcastic than grateful.. so here is my list- I will let you be the judge.

I am thankful for:

1: Ipod headphones- they give you the ability to ignore people without actually being rude. ...sorry... I can't hear you.....

2: The 'ignore' button on cell phones- oops- "it went straight to voice mail??... weird! must be something wrong with my phone... hm.. " hehehe

3: Being a 'working' adult.. "oh sorry I can't come to.. *fill in the blank*... I'm working" (granted- 99% of the time I actually am working.. but still.. it's my only excuse when I have to get out of something..)

4: That my inlaws live out of the state- I don't think I could remain sane if I had to spend both Thanksgiving AND Christmas in Utah- one is enough for me. it gives us a much needed vacation

5: That I am only 21- I can get away with saying stupid things.. "oops- I guess I just don't know better- must be a generational thing"...yay for gen Y!!!

6: That my inlaws aren't LDS..... what a weird thing to be thankful for right?? I dunno.. I am just thankful because it gives me some perspective on life.. and it's nice that when I say something to them.. I don't have to worry about them thinking I am some horrible person.. not that I have anything to say that is really that big of a deal... but seriously.. Utah is a sheltered bubble- filled with alot of people who claim acceptance but are really very judgemental.. oops am I going to.. uh... heck? :)

7: Tylenol PM and Benedril... mmm sleepy sleep time!...zzzzzzzzz....... "My name is Cherilyn and I'm addicted to Tylenol".... hahaha totally kidding! *use only as directed* :)

8: Facebook... It distracts me so that I don't sit home and literally go insane.. how lame am I? believe me- I know!

9: Tips...two words: un-taxable income- ssssshhhhh don't tell!!.... or wait.. is that three words??

10: Showers... ok not all showers- mostly just mine. and I guess this one isn't really a sarcastic one.. because if you saw my shower- you'd be jealous of all it's tiled greatness and awesome glory. seriously.. showering is up there as one of the best parts of my day.. *tear* I will miss you Mr. Shower when we are gone *sniff sniff*.. and I owe my wonderful shower in all its awe and glory to my brothers.. yay for the need to bathe!!

So.... Some of my list is actually true.. like the fact that I work 24/7 and that my phone hardly works 3/4 of the time..but these things are the seldom used luxuries of my life I guess.. if you want to call them luxuries.. I mainly call them hilarious!!
